Skoufis Secures Rent Agreement
For Silver Stream Mobile Home Residents
Last month, after meeting with local residents and after calling on RHP Properties to reevaluate their rent increase, Senator Skoufis met with Joel Brown, the President of RHP Properties, to discuss the issues with the proposed rent increase and the new state law. During this meeting, Senator Skoufis and RHP Properties mutually agreed to a rent increase of 3.0%.
“First and foremost, I thank the residents of Silver Stream for bringing this to my attention very early on,” said Senator Skoufis. “After meeting with Joel Brown, we were able to come to a mutual agreement that the residents of the mobile home parks will not have their rent increased more than 3.0% in 2020. I thank RHP Properties for coming to the table and for doing the right thing by its residents and our community.”
“After collaborating with Senator Skoufis, we believe it is in everyone’s best interest – especially our residents – to enact a three percent rent increase at this time,” said RHP President, Joel Brown. “We will continue to provide a high level of service and quality lifestyle to our residents.
