Stop and Search Brings Another Tirade By City Councilman Shakur

City of Newburgh Police were called to what was called a suspicious vehicle and activity inside a vehicle at the Mobil gas station Broadway and Robinson Ave. in the City of Newburgh.  Police Marked and unmarked units responded.

Newburgh City Councilman, Omari Shakur’s behavior was again brought under question after he drove by the scene and videotaped the investigation while broadcasting claims that the city’s young men were again being targeted by “occupiers” who he said did not even live in the city.
