FINALLY – Schools Prepare For Reopening!

Washingtonville:

In preparation for its “Grand Reopening” on April 12 (target date), desk partitions are being installed at the Washingtonville Central School District elementary  buildings. Note, though not easy to see since they are so clear, there is also a side partition. On  March 24 the Superintendent gave an update regarding the transition plan for in-person learning, by grade level.  You can replay it at https://www.ws.k12.ny.us/

Newburgh:

NECSD Superintendent Roberto Padilla  provided an update on the district website saying in part “On Monday, April  5 , all NECSD schools will offer four days of in-person instruction to those families who have opted for hybrid learning.  Everyone else will remain in the 100% instructional remote model.  Wednesdays will continue as an asynchronous day until we transition to a five-day, in-person model.  Details regarding the reopening and COVID-19 safety guidelines can be found on the district website at http://www.newburghschools.org
